Subjects Offered in the Degree Programme

The course materials originate from the International Correspondence University that is an affiliate of the Assemblies of God in the USA. Their Nigerian Headquarters office is located in Lagos. The course materials can be purchased directly from there if you choose, but the availability of courses fluctuates because of difficulty in shipping materials to Nigeria from the USA.

We recommend that you work towards a Bachelor Degree in Theology.

You can earn an Associate of Arts Degree as a first step. To earn an AA Degree, the student must successfully complete six subjects. These subjects are given in on campus tutorials. They are:

  • Hermeneutics
  • Church History
  • The Bible And The Church Old Testament Biblical Theology
  • Cross-Cultural Communications
  • Soteriology

As stated previously, a student with insufficient credit hours must take twelve subjects to complete the AA Degree. The final six will be taken on a self-study basis under faculty supervision. The choice of subjects will depend upon what subjects have been previously done in diploma level and the grade earned.

To earn a Bachelor Degree from ANFCBII, an additional twelve (12) courses must be successfully completed. They are:
